The conference was organized by the Portuguese Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO), and the European Union Intellectual Property Institute (EUIPO), focused on the theme of ‘Thinking about industrial property, sustainability, and the future of the planet’. The primary objective was to explore the role of intellectual property and innovation as crucial solutions to the current global challenges.
